Time is of the essence in most medical situations. When a patient needs to be transferred from her current hospital to a facility offering a higher level of care, nothing is more imperative than reliable, timely ground ambulance transport.
Palouse Area Care & Transport (PACT EMS) is licensed by the states of Idaho and Washington to provide facility-to-facility medical ground ambulance transport on the Palouse. We offer several different levels of service to area hospitals. Each ambulance carries Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) medical supplies, and all the necessary equipment required to stabilize, treat, and transport patients to specialized treatment facilities, hospital emergency departments, cardiac catheterization facilities, or trauma centers. As a result, our ambulances are equivalent to a mobile emergency room or intensive care unit.
Medical facilities—from hospitals to skilled nursing facilities—can expect prompt, reliable service from PACT EMS. Since our founding in 2013, PACT EMS has had the privilege of improving the quality of interfacility transport on the Palouse. As a result, area hospitals and patient wait times have dramatically decreased, increasing the efficiency of local healthcare and benefitting the patients we serve.
At PACT EMS, our patients are—and will always be—our first priority. Our patients are someone’s mother, son, grandmother, or father, and it is our responsibility to help these individuals through a traumatic situation with as much comfort and dignity as possible, while providing reliable, prompt interfacility ground transport. Our compassionate, caring EMTs and Paramedics are trained to the highest standards in the industry, and more importantly, embody the qualities we the PACT EMS family values—kindness, empathy, and integrity. Not only do our staff exude these patient-centered traits, but they are also equipped to handle emergency medical situations including, but not limited to, cardiac, respiratory, and trauma events. PACT EMS EMTs, Advanced EMTs, Paramedics, and Critical Care Paramedics are committed to personalized, quality, patient-centered care.
