Advanced Life Support (ALS) Interfacility Transfers are staffed by a highly trained paramedics, and transport patients who require a higher level of medical care. Patients who require ALS transport may include but not limited to:

• Cardiac dysrhythmia – ECG Monitoring
• 12 Lead Interpretation – Cardioversion
• Defibrillation – Cardiac Pacing – STEMI
• Head Trauma – Stroke Management
• Fractures – Dislocations – Burns
• Respiratory Distress – Nebulized Meds
• Ventilator – BiPAP – CO2 Monitoring
• I.V. – I.O. – Medication – Blood Infusion
• Advanced Airway – ET Tube Intubation
• Pain Management – Glucose Monitoring
• Non-Compliant Mental Health Transport
